Vicky was born in Greece and raised in a bilingual environment, by an English mother and a Greek father. She attended school at the Hellenic American Educational Foundation Athens College – Psychiko College where she completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma during the last two years of high school.
Having completed her diploma she went on to study abroad at the Royal Holloway University of London, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Parallel to her studies she engaged in voluntary work experience in a number of organisations in central London working with children and young adults with learning and behavioural difficulties.
On her return to Greece, her passion for special needs in the educational field led to her work placement in a dyslexia centre in the north suburbs of Athens, where she shadowed primary school children. She has also worked with a number of families teaching English to toddlers through creative play, and young learners with a focus on developing their speaking and reading skills. Her wealth of experience, especially with younger age groups, combined with her energetic lively personality aid her in teaching our younger pupils effectively while making the lesson fun to do.
